Suicide Squad is a 2016 American superhero film based on the DC Comics antihero team of the same name. It's the third installment in the DC Extended Universe. The film is written and directed by David Ayer and stars an ensemble cast featuring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Viola Davis, Jai Courtney, Jay Hernandez, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood and Cara Delevingne. In Suicide Squad, a secret government agency led by Amanda Waller recruits imprisoned supervillains to execute dangerous black ops missions and save the world from a powerful threat, in exchange for leaner sentences.
Encore is the debut studio album by the French electronic music producer DJ Snake, released on 5 August 2016 by Interscope Records. It release has been preceded by its lead single "Middle" featuring the English singer Bipolar Sunshine, released in October 2015, which reached the top 20 in France and the United States, the top 10 in the UK and top 5 in Australia, and the single "Talk" featuring Australian vocalist George Maple, released in June 2016, which peaked at number 39 in France. Running six tracks in length, the EP was recorded and produced entirely by Wilson herself, the sole collaborator being fellow Toronto musician River Tiber, who appears on "Where Do You Go." Wilson's latest work also features the hymnal feel of "Work," the late-night jazz of "After All," and the vocal layering of bookends "On Your Own" and "Reprise."

Crystal Castles are an experimental electronic band formed in 2003 in Toronto, Ontario by songwriter/producer Ethan Kath. Crystal Castles are known for their chaotic live shows and lo-fi melancholic homemade productions. They released many limited vinyl singles between 2006 and 2007 before releasing a trilogy of critically acclaimed albums between 2008 and 2012.
The EP clearly boasts an impressive line of talent, but it's the EP track standout, "Ain't Love Strange," which was extremely special for Stanaj to record. "I also got to work with Sebastian Kole, who wrote Alessia Cara's "Here," and who also wrote "Ain’t Love Strange" for me to record. I instantly fell in love with that record, there’s so much soul to it."
Nashville garage rock duo JEFF The Brotherhood have announced the August 12th release of their latest full-length, Zone, through Dine Alone Records. Though the new album chronologically follows 2015’s Global Chakra Rhythms, Zone marks the third and final installment in a spiritual trilogy that includes 2009’s Heavy Days and 2011’s We Are The Champions.
Boy King was made in Dallas with John Congleton (St. Vincent, Swans), and replaces the ornate detail of its predecessors with machine-tooled funk and pitch-shifted gasps, aiming to marry Justin Timberlake’s groove with Nine Inch Nails’ aggression. Whereas 2014’s Present Tense extolled the spiritual fulfillment that can come from sex and love, their sole lyrical concern here is destruction at the hands of desire. The need to keep things fresh five albums in is understandable, and Wild Beasts should be smart enough to adapt.
